Betty Jane (Nickel) Neuman

Betty Jane Nickel Neuman, 71, of Lolita, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She was born on March 27, 1948 in Edna to the late Woodrow Wilson Nickel and Janie Elizabeth Rogers Nickel.  Betty graduated LVN School with honors in Ganado in the 1960's Her passion was helping others. On May 10, 1969, she married Tommy Ray Neuman. She had two sons while still working as an LVN in surrounding towns. She helped many nurses during her career.  Her grandsons were very special to her. She followed her grandsons to many different sporting events. She was always proud of what each of them did in and out of school.

Betty is survived by her sons, Tommy Brian Neuman and his wife Kristina, and Christopher Ray Neuman, grandsons: Wyatt Christopher Neuman and Morgan Lee Neuman, sisters; Faye Macha and Kathy Swain, brother; Ray Nickel, along with nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband; Tommy, and brothers; Frank Nickel and James Nickel.

Services will be held at a later date.
