Duke's true passion was the Nazareth Academy Christmas Play that he wrote and produced every year. His favorite hobby was to write poetry. he was a faithful and devout Catholic that truly believed in the power of prayer.

Duke and Peggy; "Pap Pap' and "Mamo" loved to travel with their grandkids, creating great memories during their summer visits to Garner State Park, Mesa Verde, New York, Graceland, Carlsbad Caverns, Mt. Rushmore, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Amish Country, Colorado, and Grand Canyon. During his last few years on this earth fighting this horrible disease of Parkinson's he was blessed to have three neighboring angels, Cyndi Poulton, Tiffany Wengler, and Taylor Jo Mirelez to help any hour of the day or night. They also treated him with cookies and blizzards.

As a family we will truly miss Duke, but we are so very thankful that he is finally at peace and able to be his true self and no longer affected by Parkinsons Disease.
