Eurie Childers

Eurie "Leon" Childers, 89, of Ganado passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born on Thursday, January 2, 1930 in Engle, Arkansas to Eurie and Ethell Childers.

Leon in survived by his daughters; Barbara Moser, Carol Wilson and husband Jim, Sandy Ramirez and husband Donald, and Rhonda Sulak and Stanley Brosch,  his ten grandchildren; Nathan Moser, Chris Wilson, Scott Wilson, Lee Childers, Jackie Alvarez, Christi Renee Dunigan, Shannae Chumchal, Yvonne Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez and Keith Sulak, sixteen great-grandchildren; Mattie Moser, Michael Moser, Matthew Moser, Jacob Wilson, Rachael Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Rebecca Wilson, Rachael Alvarez, Malynne Childers, Jordan Childers, Katalina Garza, Draven Saldivar, Derek Zavala, Devlin Zavala, Maci Chumchal and Rhett Gobert, three great-great-grandchildren; Elliott Alvarez, Zaylee Hernandez and Nathan Hernandez, and his brother; Onnie Plice Childers. Leon is preceded in death by his parents, wife Maude Katherine Childers and his sisters; Leona Thomason, Billie June and Grace Arnold, also his son; Travis Childers.

There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am at Ganado Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Ganado City Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home,  800 S. Third St. Ganado, TX 77962, 361-771-2120.
