Lillian Viola (Tupa) Walch

Lillian was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1933 in Ganado, Texas to Jim and Laura Tupa. Lillian went home to her Lord on Friday, October 4, 2019. After her graduation from Ganado High Schoolin 1951, she worked at Ganado Elementary School for many years, then she worked for the oil company as a secretary/bookkeeper until she retired in 1989. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and was a Lector for many years. Lillian married the love of her life on Monday, June 29, 1953, B.L. Walch, and together they raised their four children. Lillian is survived by her husband B.L.Walch, daughters; Kathy Humbird, Erica and Wesley Jones, sons; TIm and Roxanne Walch, and Mark and Tina Walch, her eight grandchildren; Brandell Humbird, Crystal Dent, Ryan Humbird, Capree Young, Casey Jones, Taylor Jones, Cole Walch, and Summer Rial, her fourteen great-grandchildren; Katy Dent, Kary Dent, Jacob Dent, Caroline Young, Fisher Young, Brooks Young, Derek Humbird, Annabell Humbird, Gabby Valenta, Bryce Humbird, Kelsi Humbird, Cotham Rial, Logan Humphrey and Carter Humphrey, and her sister; Annie Lesak. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jim and Laura Tupa, her three sisters, and one brother.

There will be a visitation on Monday, October 7, 2019 beginning at 9:00 am, followed by a Rosary at 9:30 am, the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating followed by interment in Assumption Catholic Cemetery.  The Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Bothe and Kevin Dent.  Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, 800 S. Third St. Ganado, TX 77957, 361-771-2152.
