Mary Effie Simicek

Mary Effie Simicek, 89 of Ganado, passed away Monday November 12, 2018. She was born in Ganado on September 7, 1929 to the late Robert and Frances Olsovsky. Mary loved cooking and baking. Mary is survived by her daughter; Sandra Grahmann, and son, Ronnie S. Simicek. Also a sister, Eileen Brown and six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Preceded in death are her parents, husband, Sylvester J. Simicek, brother, Bobby Joe Simicek, sisters,Mary Frances Novak, Lonie Hollis, Willie Mae Thomas and Connie Mae Madden. Visitation will be Friday November 16,2018 from 9:00 ~ 10:00 am , with a Rosary at 9:30 am and services at 10:00 am at the Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado, with Father Kirby Hlavaty  officiating . Interment will follow in the Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Ganado Funeral Home, 800 S. Third St. Ganado, TX, 361-771-2120.
