Abraham James Bermea

Our beloved Abraham Bermea, 57 years old who resides in Victoria, Texas has gained his wings on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born on Monday, February 8, 1965 to Robert and Sally Bermea.  He was raised in Ganado, Texas and graduated from Ganado High School in 1983.  Abraham was preceded in death by his father Robert Bermea, Sr. and brother Ruben Bermea.  He has been survived by his wife, Patricia Bermea and mother Sally Bermea, sisters; Diane Tristan and her husband Tommy, Molly Sless and her husband Danny, Carolyn Hardeway and her husband Larry and his brother, Robert Bermea, Jr. Also his children, Kristy Davila and her husband Eleno, Abraham Bermea, Jr., Adrian Bermea and his wife Melissa, and Amber Williams, his Stepchildren, Stephanie and Amanda Arning and Brandi Learn and her husband Thomas, also his 18 beloved grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Abraham, aka Black Diamond, was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands.  He was always ready to help others.  If you knew Abraham, he was always cracking a joke just to make you laugh.  Most of his leisure time was spent cooking and playing Bingo.  He also enjoyed fishing and making sure to post pictures of his meals and his winnings on Facebook.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and attended Mass at Lady of Sorrow in Victoria, Texas. He recently served team for the Men's Acts Retreat in May.  He loved sharing his love of God with others.

There will be a visitation beginning  at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 16th at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado, Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm with Father Greg Korenek officiating.
