Agnes Louise Sembera Obituary

Agnes Louise Sembera, 84 of New Braunfels, formerly of Vanderbilt, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Agnes was born on Thursday, October 22, 1936 in DaCosta, Victoria County, Texas to Jim F. Sembera and Anastazia Fojtik Sembera.  Agnes served her country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Agnes touched a great many lives in her life and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. 

Agnes is survived by her sister, Gertrude Sembera Gwosdz of New Braunfels, Texas and her sister-in-law Eve Sembera of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has been preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Anastazia Sembera, brother-in-law Clarence Paul Gwosdz, her sister and brother-in-law Filomena Sembera Huble and Albert Huble, and her brother Eugene Daniel Sembera. 

There will be a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in LaSalle with Father Owusu Boateng Johnson officiating, beginning with Visitation at 12:00 PM, Rosary being recited at 12:30 pm, and Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 pm, followed by Interment at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery, also in LaSalle. 

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St.  Edna, TX 77957, 361-782-2152.
