Alan Dale Fleming Obituary

Alan Dale Fleming, 66, passed away tragically, December 11, 2024, due to a house fire.  He was born November 15, 1958, to Walter Edward and Pearline Williams Fleming in Shreveport, LA. On October 21, 1986, he and his wife Marie Rodriguez were married and spent the next 38 years together.  He passed away at his home in Ganado TX.  Before his health took a turn for the worse about 15 years ago, his shop in his back yard was the hangout place for all of his friends who gathered to play dominoes, pool and sing while he played his guitar.  He was employed in the oilfield, drove trucks and worked for Ganado ISD in maintenance and as a bus driver.  He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Edward Fleming and brother, Jack Wayne Fleming.  He is survived by his mother Pearline Williams Fleming, daughter Ashley Diane Fleming Gill (Jason), granddaughter Abigail Lynn Gill, sister Patty Fleming Cunningham (Charles) and nieces Kristy Fleming Rickman, Heather Fleming Jimenez, Samantha Nairn Gamble and Allyson Nairn Flanagan, and 7 great nieces, 6 great nephews and one great-great nephew.  A private family burial will be held at Salem Cemetery in Ezell. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Tristan, Jacob Tristan, Jarred Jennings, Steve Brandon, Charles Cunningham and Jeff Flanagan. Services are entrusted to the Todish Family of Slavik and Ganado Funeral Homes.
