Alice Diaz (Hernandez) Carreon

Alice Hernandez Diaz Carreon, 69 of Waco, Texas, formerly of Ganado, Texas passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022.  Alice was born in Jackson County on Tuesday, August 19, 1952, to Anastacio Hernandez ad Fidela Vargas Hernandez, Alice was one of fifteen children blessed to this family.  She has been survived by her loving family, daughters, Eva and her husband Mario Borja, Rosario and her husband Rafael Muniz, Daisy Diaz and Norma Diaz, sons, Adam Diaz and Avelino Diaz, her sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, also her sister, Janie Flores and her husband Florentino, and her brother Roberto Hernandez.  She has been preceded in death by her parents, Fidela Vargas Hernandez, and Anastacio Hernandez, and her husband Gustavo Diaz.

There will be a visitation on Friday, July 8th, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with Rosary being recited at 9:30 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Greg Korenek officiating, followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Ganado.
