Anna Rose Austen Nelsoley, 80, of Edna, Texas passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Thursday, December 28, 1939 to Charles S. Austen, Sr. and Helen Goynes Austen in George West, Live Oak County, Texas.
Anna has resided in Edna, Texas since 1970 where she was a housewife and mother who prided herself in taking care of her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and dear friend.
Anna is survived by her daughters; Gina Plant and her husband Danny, Theresa Nesloney, daughter-in-law; Amanda Nesloney, son Jesse Hester and his wife Becky, sister, Ruth Cortez, brother Charles S. Austen, Jr. her seven grandchildren; Amanda Watson and husband Charlie, Jonathan Hester and his wife Leslie, Catherine Hester, Dusty Hester, Justin Wade Plant and his wife Monica, Sheryle Lynn Plant Moore and her husband Rex, and Shane Lee, also her six great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Peikert, Blaine Aills, R.J. Watson, Ezra Escamilla, Connor Reese Hester and Barrett John Wilsher. In addition to her parents, Anna has been preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick James Nesloney, Sr., daughter Jackie Anne Hester, son Fredrick James Nesloney, Jr. and brother Charles R. Austen. Anna will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
The pallbearers will be Jesse Hester, Jonathon Hester, Dusty Hester, Danny Plant, Justin Plant and William Gibson, Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Austen, Leon Plant, and Rex Moore
There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, November 14, 2020 St. Agnes Catholic Church beginning with Visitation at 9:00 am, Rosary being recited at 9:30 am and Funeral Mass at 10:00 am with Father Michael Petering officiating. Interment will follow with a Graveside service on Saturday, at 2:30 pm in Gussettville Cemetery with Brother Ruben Castillo officiating.
