Annie Faye Macha, 79,was born on December 8, 1941 to the late Woodrow and Janie Nickel. She graduated from Edna High School and soon after married Willie Macha who preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-laws; Susan and Pat Myers of Vanderbilt, Texas, Donna and Andy Startz of College Station, Texas, and Lisa and Doug Schomburg of Rosenberg, Texas. She is also survived by the grandchildren she loved so much, Heather and Meagan Myers, Bethany and Chad Startz, and Zoe Schomburg, also her brother Ray Nickel and sister Kathy Swain.
Faye loved her family, her Bible, her puzzles, and her Christmas Hallmark Movies. She loved sitting in her sunroom in the morning watching the sunrise and drinking her coffee while her "Kitty Kat" Oreo sat on her lap.
We will remember Faye's strength, kindness, and her thoughtfulness to people and animals. We will miss her humor, her hospitality and her friendship.
"Because of the tender mercy of our God
whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace."
Luke 1:78-79
