Arthur Eugene Bundren

Arthur Eugene "Gene" Bundren, 87, of Edna went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Gene was born in February 1932 to Thomas and Lydia Bundren. Although Gene was born in Hebbronville, Texas he was raised in Refugio and graduated from Refugio High School. He also served his country by serving in the U. S. Army for 2 years. Gene is survived by his wife Margaret of 63 years, and his son; Mark Bundren. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas Bundren, Jr. and sister Shirley Bundren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2020 beginning at 9:00 am, with Rosary being recited at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Michael Petering officiating, interment will follow at Lolita Cemetery.
