Bailey Bryan Hyden

Bailey Hyden, 85 of Edna, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021. A visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel from 5:pm to 7:pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Church of Christ in Edna. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens of Edna Cemetery.

Bailey was born on March 12, 1936 in Groesbeck, Texas to Roland and Myrtle Hyden.  He is survived by his loving family, daughter; Beverly and Joe Mack Wittenburg, son Brian Hyden, his grandchildren; Jaime Rea, K.B. and Brooke DeBord, Jake and Chelsea Wittenburg, Amanda and Jake Compton, Jacob and Kristan DeBord, Jodi DeBord, Amy and Jake Chambless, Jordyn and Matt Miles, Laynee and Lane Long, Paige and Matthew Aguirre. Also his Great-Grandchildren; Jailee and Jetlyn Rea, Peyton, Parker, and Pierce DeBord, Max and Ella Wittenburg, Caleb, Eli and Layla Compton, Morgan and Ridlee DeBord, Piper Mendoza, Connor, Kynzee and Kemper Chambless, Oaklynn Long and Paxtyn Rodriguez, Penella and Bonnie Aguirre. He has been preceded in death by his parents; Roland and Myrtle Hyden, wife; Patricia Hyden, brothers; Rex Hyden, Howard Hyden, and Charles Hyden, sister Betty Hyden Howell, and one great-granddaughter; Presley Rose DeBord.

Pallbearers will be; K. B. DeBord, Jacob DeBord, Jake Wittenburg, Jake Chambless, Jake Compton and Lane Long .

His family suggests memorials be sent to Hospice of South Texas in Victoria, Texas.

Please Note:  In consideration of COVID-19, Social Distancing and masks will be required at both, the visitation and the funeral service.
