Barbara Ann Baker, 48 of East Bernard Texas, lost her courageous fight against cancer on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  Barbara was born on Friday, December 1, 1972 in Ashtabula Ohio.  She is survived by her parents, Robert and Patricia Reger, her husband, James R. Baker, daughters; Laura Ashley Dishman, and Elizabeth LaVerne Baker, sons; Timothy Joel Gorham and Allen James Baker.  She has been preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kevin Reger.

Barbara's greatest love, was that of her family, horses and motorcycles, especially all things Harley.  Barbara was also known for her hard work and dedication for 15 years in the cafeteria in the East Bernard School District. 

There will be a Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at The East Bernard First United Methodist Church 421 Pietsch St. East Bernard, TX  77435, with Pastor Justin Mikulencak officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the service at 11:00 am. Interment will then follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Ganado at 2:00 pm.
