Beverly Lamar "B.L." Walch Obituary

Beverly Lamar “B.L.” Walch, 92 passed away Wednesday November 20, 2024.  B.L. was born on August 8, 1932, in El Campo, Texas to Conrad and Laverne Walch.  He was an ardent truck driver for many years, however, retired from Alcoa in 1995.  He coached little league for many years and belonged to the JC’s that helped build the Ganado swimming pool.  B.L. also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He is survived by his daughters Kathy Humbird of West Columbia, Texas, and Erica (Wes) Jones of North Zulch, Texas; sons Tim (Roxanne) Walch of Danbury and Mark (Tina) Walch of Ganado; grandchildren Brandell Humbird, Crystal Dent, Ryan Humbird (Daniela), Capree Young (Kyle), Casey Jones (Stephanie), Taylor Humphrey (Bryce), Cole Walch (Allie), and Summer Rial (Chris); 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lillian Walch, and brother Alan Walch.  A private family burial was held on Friday November 22, 2024.  Services entrusted to the Todish family of Ganado & Slavik Funeral Homes.
