Cirenia Cortes

Cirenia Cortes, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday March 4, 2024.  She was born on July 12, 1942 to Vicente and Belen Lopez Herrera.  Cirenia is survived by her husband; Jose Cortes, daughters Gricelda Almaraz (Ricardo), Mireya Cortes Herrera and Maria Almeda, sons Salomon Cortes, Misail Cortes (Molisa), Jesus Cortes (Araceli), Billy Cortes (Brittani), Fernando Cortes, and David Cortes (Lisa) 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Maria Luisa Lopez. 

The family will receive visitors at 9:00am Thursday March 7, 2024 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with the Rosary recited at 9:30am.  Funeral mass will begin at 10:00am with Father Greg Korenek officiating.  Burial to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Salomon Cortes, Jesus Cortes, Fernando Cortes, David Cortes, Misail Cortes and Billy Cortes.  Honorary pallbearers are Joey Almaraz, Juan Cortes, Sammy Cortes, Ricky Almeda, Richard Martinez, Noah Cortes, Bentley Cortes, Josue Almaraz, Reyjesus Cortez-Lara, Jose' Luis Cortez-Lara, Jesus Cortes Jr., Michael Cortez, Angel Cortez, Miguel Hernandez Jr., and Candido Hernandez.

Services have been entrusted to the Todish family of Ganado & Slavik Funeral Homes.
