Clyde "Ralph" Myers Obituary

Clyde “Ralph” Myers, a beloved husband, the best father, greatest grandfather, super Papa, amazing brother, and a wonderful friend to all he met, passed away unexpectedly June 24, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. He was born on October 20,1943, in Addick, Texas. Ralph’s life was one of dedication, compassion, and unwavering generosity.

In his youth, Ralph was very athletic and was even a part of the 1st Katy High School State Championship winning football team of 1959 as player #41. After his high school graduation, Ralph proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1964-1969. He often spoke courageously of his experiences on the frontline of the B-52 Bombers.

Shortly after serving his country, he met the love of his life, Vivian, in January of 1970. After their 1st date to the motocross races in the Astrodome he knew instantly who he would spend the rest of his life with. They were married just 5 months later on May 30, 1970, adding up to 55 years of marriage this year.

Ralph had a nearly 38-year career in the concrete business. After his retirement in 2011 is when he really started working with his true passion. He decided to start his own businesses called Myer’s Tools and CRM Wood Products to showcase his skilled creativity in woodworking, making everything from unique wall décor to furniture pieces. Finally, he retired for the 2nd time in 2022 to slow down and enjoy life at home.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife Vivian Goates Myers, son Rodney Myers and wife Kimberly, granddaughter Kody Gresham and husband Nick, grandsons Anthony Roccaforte, Austin Mullins and wife Silja, great grandchildren Remy and Kitt, sister Linda Kay Cooper and husband Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents John Dillard and Susy Faye Myers, sisters Peggy Sue Caldwell and Emma Lou Davis, and brother Billy Ray Myers.
