Edwina Tomas Obituary

It is with loving hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Edwina Tomas on January 14, 2024. Born on July 5, 1923, Edwina was someone who found humor in a lot of situations and left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her.

Edwina is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Frank Tomas, her sons Samuel and Michael, and her granddaughter Sherrie Sue. She is survived by her sons Eugene (Scottie) and Pat (Peggy), and leaves behind a legacy through her 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Edwina, with her keen sense of self, created lasting memories for those who knew her.

Reaching the impressive milestone of 100 years, Edwina's journey through life was marked by resilience and a spirit that embraced each day. As we remember her, let us celebrate the life Edwina lived, the laughter she brought to our lives, and the impressive feat of reaching 100 years. May her spirit find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Graveside memorial service details will be shared with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Edwina’s name to the charity of the donors choice.
