Elroy Wiese
August 30, 1931 – October 13, 2025

Elroy Wiese, 94, of Victoria, Texas, formerly of Ganado, was called home to his heavenly house on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Elroy was born on August 30, 1931, to Edwin and Nettie (Riechter) Wiese. He married the love of his life, Louise (Webel) Wiese, on May 9, 1953, and together they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage before Louise was called home in 2022.

Elroy proudly served his country in the Korean War as a communications specialist. After his military service, he enjoyed a long career with Alcoa and was also a dedicated member of the Ganado Volunteer Fire Department. A man of faith, he was a longtime member of St. James Lutheran Church.

Elroy had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with friends and family, and water skiing with his kids and grandkids. His sense of humor, warmth, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (David) Liska; his son, Ronnie (Carol) Wiese; his granddaughter, Melissa (Cody) Copenhaver; and his great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Camdyn, and Keeley Copenhaver, and Holden, Hollis, and Hynlee Hasdorff.

Elroy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Wiese; his son, Michael Roy Wiese; his brothers, Harold “Shorty” Wiese and Milton Wiese; and his grandson, Jason Hasdorff.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Ganado City Cemetery, with fellowship to follow at St. James Lutheran Church.

Elroy’s family would like to thank all who have shared their love, prayers, and support. His legacy of faith, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
