Emilia (Dominguez) Sanchez

Emilia Dominguez Sanchez, 82 years old, earned her Heavenly Wings on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Emilia was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on Tuesday, March 11, 1941 to Rosendo Dominguez and Juanita Dominguez.  Emilia was a devoted homemaker and a beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, also a grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family who knew her and loved her.  She is survived by her children; daughter, Zelda Schaffer and her husband Ed Schaffer, sons, Ernest Paul Sanchez, and Russell Sanchez, also her much beloved grandchildren; Gabrielle Garcia, Esmerelda Sanchez, Wesley Schaffer and Garret Schaffer, and her great-grandchildren; Aubree Garcia, Maison Garcia and Carsyn Garcia.  She has been preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Rosendo Dominguez, her husband Paulino Sanchez, Jr. sister, Mary Alice Longoria and her brother-in-law; Ernest Sanchez.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church,1208 Avenue C, Bay City, Texas 77414, 979-245-4311. Visitation will be held  from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 am, immediately followed by the Interment at Midfield Cemetery.
