Eulalia R. (Rodriguez) Duron Obituary

Eulalia R. (Rodriguez) Duron, 96, of Edna left this world to go to her Heavenly Home on Monday, June 13, 2022. Eulalia was born on Thursday, January 14, 1926, in Yorktown, Texas to Emilio Rodriguez and Angelita Banuelos Rodriguez.  On November 24th, 1956, Eulalia married the love of her life, Marcelino Duron, and together they raised their family.  Eulalia was a caring and loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Elba Duron Johndrow, her sons, Hector Lopez and his wife Maria Soledad Lopez, and Rene Duron and his wife, Maria Chua Duron.  Also, her fifteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Rosa Figueroa.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marcelino, son Mario Duron.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Edna, beginning with visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, with Rosary being recited at 10:00 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with Father Owusu Boateng Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Edna Latin American Cemetery in Edna.

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St., Edna, TX 77957, 361-782-2152.
