Evelyn “Minnie” Cihal Pruitt, 89 of Ganado, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025.  She was born on November 17, 1935, in El Campo, Texas to the late August and Antonia Cihal.  She was married on July 6, 1957 to J.O. Pruitt, who proceeded her in death, and celebrated 54 wonderful years with her one and only sweetheart, settling down in Ganado.

She is survived by her son Doug (Donna) Pruitt of Van Vleck and daughter, Jenni Noack of Austin; grandchildren Jon (Ellen) Pruitt, Derek Pruitt, Cierra Nock, Hunter (Mary Liz) Noack, Alyssa Nicholes, Kris (Aerin) Kunkel and Rachel Willauer; and nine great-grandchildren, Gage and Hayden Fisher, Alex, TJ, Killian and Trystan Pruitt, Daphne and Delilah Kunkel and Baby Noack (coming May 2025). 

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday January 28, 2025 at 12:30pm at First Methodist Church in Ganado, Texas with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm.  Interment to follow at Ganado City Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Jon Pruitt, Derek Pruitt, Gage Fisher, Hayden Fisher, Hunter Noack and Kris Kunkel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Methodist Church in Ganado.
