George Frank Kutach, Jr. Obituary

George Frank Kutach, Jr., 68, passed away February 13, 2026. He was born July 17,1957, to George Frank Kutach, Sr. and Irene.  He enjoyed life on his farm affectionately named “Beulah Land Ranch” tending to his donkeys and horses. You could often find him sitting out on the back porch with a pair of binoculars checking out the wildlife that would make its way across the land. His family and grandchildren meant everything to him. George faithfully served as a pastor for 28 years.  First at CrossRoad Assembly of God in East Bernard and later at Beacon of Hope Church in Victoria, Texas (formerly First Assembly of God). He was deeply blessed to be surrounded by a loving and supportive church family. George was a firm believer that having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ was the most important part of his life. He would point people towards the Lord in any way he could often leaving words of hope and encouragement on deposit slips at the bank which the tellers have said they miss in his absence. George always wanted people to know they could come to him to talk about his faith and theirs and that knowing the Lord as their Savior was his mission.  George was preceded in death by his father George Frank Kutach, Sr. and his father and mother-in-law, Johnnie and Laura Cortez.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Linda Kutach of Inez; mother, Irene Kutach of Victoria; daughters, Rebecca Murrile and husband Wes of East Bernard and Tanya Janak and husband Randy of Victoria; and 6 beautiful grandchildren who he loved so dearly.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 9am at Beacon of Hope Church (formerly First Assembly of God) of Victoria until the Celebration of Life starts at 10am.  Private burial to take place at Czech National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of South Texas or Beacon Of Hope Church (formerly First Assembly of God).  Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik & Ganado Funeral Homes.
