Georgia Nickel Obituary

Georgia Ann Jackson Nickel, 73, of Edna, passed away on Friday April 26, 2024.  Georgia was born on January 26, 1951 to Stonewall and Naomi Jackson.  She was married to her late husband, Frank, on June 5, 1971.  Georgia is survived by her daughters Sandy Bell and Sindy Nickel; grandchildren D.J. Bell (Megan), Andy Bell (Meagan) and Callie Bell; and great-grandchildren Macyn Bell, Daxtyn Bell, Dawson Bell, Wyatt Bell and Della Bell.  She is also survived by siblings Kathy Jackson, David Jackson (Debra), Glenda Johnson (Phillip), Carolyn Bartos (Darrell), and Calvin Jackson; sister-in-law Kathy Swain and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by parents, husband Frank Nickel, and son-in-law David Bell. 

The family will receive visitors starting at 1pm Friday May 3, 2024 at the Slavik Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service starting at 2:30pm.  Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Edna cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Calvin Jackson, David Jackson, Darrell Bartos, Cody Witzkoski, Charles Swain and Chris Lindsey.  Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik Funeral Home.
