Georgia Deleon Sanchez, 86, of Victoria passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, Georgia was born on Thursday, September 9, 1937  to Ysabel and Maria DeLeon in Vanderbilt, Jackson County, Texas.

Georgia has been survived by her children: Dora Ballin and her husband Clyde, Gloria Serna and her husband Gerardo, Margaret Sanchez, Delia Fabela and her husband Manuel, Alicia Tijerina, Rose Mary Sanchez, and her step-daughter; Mary Lou Villegas, also her daughter-in-law; Elma Sanchez,  Roger Sanchez and his wife Carolina, Jessie Sanchez and his wife Elizabeth, Louis Sanchez and his wife Maria, Valo Sanchez and his wife Kim, and Ricky Sanchez, also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She has been preceded in death by her parents; Maria and Ysabel DeLeon, her husband Louis Sanchez, her son; David Sanchez, son-in-law; Daniel Lee Tijerina, son-in-law; Rudolph Sanchez, Jr., and step-son-in-law; Alfredo Villegas.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 pm.  Funeral Service will also be held at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, interment will follow at Edna Latin American Cemetery, with Reverend Mary Garcia of New Harvest Christian Church officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Sanchez, Michael Ballin, Gilbert Garza Jr, Jesse Sanchez Sr, Jody Golden, Raymond Sanchez, Ricky Sanchez Jr, and Jesse Sanchez Jr.
