Gregorio Ocanas, Sr..

Gregorio Ocanas, Sr., 91, of Edna, passed away on May 7, 2020. He was born on May 9, 1928 in Runge, Karnes County, Texas to Pablo and Refugia Ocanas. He is survived by his daughters; Rosa Linda Guizar and Mary Louise Cortes, sons; Gregorio Ocanas, Jr., and Erasmo Ocanas, his twelve grandchildren; Robert, Ruben, Miranda, Richard, Angela, Alissa, Joshua, Jamie, Julie, Jenny, Aiden and Andres, his fourteen great-grandchildren; Saffren, Selby, Laura, Luke, Jadon, Alex, Abi, Oliver, Stellaria, Alana, Daniel, Brianna, Jaden, and Nova. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Rebecca Garza Ocanas, brothers; Santiago, Alfredo, Juan, Felix, Ramon, and Aristello Ocanas, sisters; Simona and Virginia Mendoza Ocanas.

There was a family visitation on Friday, May 8th from 5:pm to 6:pm at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a private Graveside Service on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at Edna Latin America Cemetery in Edna, Texas.
