She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was a young girl and began using her musical talents for the church to serve God thru her life.

Faye learned to play guitar and sing very early in life.  She regularly sang and played at weekly family gatherings, and church affairs, The Yoakum Tom Tom Motorcades, The Hallettsville Fiddle Competition, celebrations, and many area bluegrass festivals.  She played backup guitar and sang music in her band, the "Bluegrass Wranglers".  They were invested in keeping Bluegrass music alive in Jackson County.

Edward "Ray" Miller and Ileta "Faye" Rose were joined together in marriage on March 26, 1949. Together, for 75 years, until Ray passed away in July of 2021, they lived a full and happy life.

Faye received her Bachelorette of Education in music and began her own business, "Faye's Music Parlor", where she taught guitar, violin, and piano lessons.

She was actively involved in the local Guadalupe Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, (DAR).

Faye is survived by her daughter, Genelle Miller Moore, sister-in-law, Janis Mordan Rose, brother-in-law, Donald Speer, twenty-one nieces and nephews, and twenty-seven great-nieces and nephews.  She has been preceded in death  by her parents, Benjamin Franklin Rose and Myrtle Lou Click Rose, her siblings, Robert Lawson Rose, Benjamin Franklin Rose, III and his wife, Nell, Ellen "Buncie" Rose Smithy and her husband Donald, Inez Rose Speer and her husband Donald, Robert "Billy" Rose, Kenneth "Sonny" Rose, Christine Rose Daneil, Ruby Rose Hamilton and her husband Dub, and Robert Mac Rose.  Faye loved her family, and she believed in the power of love and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
