James Donald Lopez

James D. Lopez, 80, passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2024.  He was born on August 19, 1943, to Joe and Irene Lopez.  He married is loving wife Brenda Jetton on December 30, 1973.  James loved doing woodwork, he made some really nice items. James loved spending time in Rockport every summer camping with his granddaughters.  He also really enjoyed a game of dominoes with a cold beer. He worked for Zachery Industrial for 36 years. James is survived by his wife Brenda, son Jeff (Stacy) Mitchell, granddaughters Haley Mitchell and Lexi Mitchell and brother Mickey (Marcia) Lopez.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill Lopez & JD Lopez and sisters Katherine and Joyce Elder. 

Services will be held at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10:30 am.
