James William White, 76, passed away January 28, 2026. He was born November 27, 1949, to the late William and Olla Mae Boultinghouse White. He was a family man that loved the outdoors and had a passion for fishing. James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mona and sisters, Martha Plant, Linda White, Verna Bell Baros, and Mae Dell Jones. He leaves behind two sons, Jonathan Montano of Edna and Coy Boone and wife Tammy of Blessing; sisters, Laura White of Bay City and Mattie Thompson of Bay City; and one brother, Jeff White of Matagorda. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik & Ganado Funeral Homes.
