Jan Marie Wooldridge joined our Lord and Savior on January 18, 2025. Jan Marie is now reunited with her mother, Carol Anne Sulak, whom she has deeply missed. Jan leaves behind her loving husband, Clinton, her son, Justin (Tracy) and three wonderful grandchildren, Daniel, Paisley and Charlee, that she would move mountains for. She is also survived by her father, Joseph Daniel Sulak, her siblings, Marty Sulak, Ralph Sulak and Sharon Skoruppa (Mark).

Jan selflessly devoted her life to loving and serving others. As a wife, mother, daughter and friend, she gave herself endlessly to put others needs and wants above her own desires to ensure their happiness.

Jan Marie served her family and community in the same manner that she served the Lord. One could guarantee, if a volunteer was needed or if a family member needed help, she would answer the call. In addition, Jan was fondly regarded for her culinary expertise. If you were fortunate enough to have sat at her table, you likely still remember the dish she served, as well as the dessert that followed. Her grandchildren will especially remember the unlimited love and sugary confections that were always available at a strategically placed height that was always just within their reach. Jan’s sparkling personality and steadfast beliefs made her a stout pillar of our family and of her inner circle of friends. Whether it was to provide a listening ear, a chance to indulge in harmless gossip, or offer up her wisdom and advice, Jan was always there to answer a call or meet with a loved one to share her time.

Finally, Jan’s memory will always remain a treasure to her husband of 40 years. Through every hill and valley, Clinton, her best friend was by her side. Their marriage reflected God’s love. Together they were one. Their marriage was a model for their son to learn from and look up to. The Sunday after her passing, as her family sat in the pew of church, it was remarked that her husband, son, or her grandchildren would not have been in God’s house if it weren’t for Jan’s love for the Lord and family which unified them all as one.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday January 23, 2025, at 9:00am at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado, Texas with a recitation of the rosary beginning at 9:30am.  The funeral mass will follow at 10:00am with Father Greg Korenek officiating.  Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.  Services entrusted to the Todish family of Ganado and Slavik Funeral Homes.
