Jayden Kent Adams Obituary

Jayden Kent Adams, 17, of Ganado, Texas, passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026.

Jayden was a happy soul who loved to fish and being around people.  He was a go-getter and had big dreams, even starting his own car detailing business at only 17.  He never met a stranger.  His smile was big enough to light up a room, and he gave the very best hugs.  Being with family and friends is where he felt most at home, and his presence brought laughter and warmth to everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Loren Everts and stepfather Howard Everts; his father, Justin Adams; and his brother Landin Adams.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Hope Maxey; grandfather, Donnie Ratiff (Martha); his grandfather, Augie Calderon; his aunts, Joni Rush, Summer Adams, Marrissa Caldron; his uncles, Billy Rush, Jay Rush and many cousins who loved him dearly--especially Amber Rush who was like a sister to him, along with Kaleb Seyferth, Ashton Ratliff, Timmy Garza, Peanut Garey, Preston Ratliff, Zoey Ratliff, and Riley Rush.

Jayden was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Davenport; his uncle, Jerry Ratliff; and his aunt, Wendy Ratliff.

Jayden's time with us was far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.  His smile, his kindness, and his unforgettable hugs will be missed beyond words.

A funeral service will be held on Friday February 20, 2026, 10:30am at Ganado Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ruben Castillo officiating. Interment to follow at Ganado City Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to the Todish family of Ganado and Slavik Funeral Homes.
