Jimmie Merle (Short) Silliman

Jimmie Merle Silliman, 90 of Ganado, passed away Saturday November 5, 2022. She was born on Saturday, January 2, 1932 in Center, Texas to Madge Theo Anthony Short and Carroll Guy Short. She was a retired LVN, Postal Worker and a member of the First Methodist Church in Ganado, Texas. Survivors include her son, Bill Silliman and his wife Gail Silliman, grandson Case Silliman and wife Rachel Silliman, great granddaughter Millie Rae Silliman, Sister Dorothy Novak and a brother Tom Short and his wife Shirley Short. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband CW Silliman, and brothers Buell and Hough Short.

Jimmie Silliman was a loving, giving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family, gardening and her pets. Visitation will be Tuesday November 8, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Ganado Funeral Home Chapel, 800 S. Third St., in Ganado, Texas 77962. To be followed by a graveside service at 10:30 at the Ganado Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First Methodist Church of Ganado and Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center of Compassion, 1005 Mallette Dr. Victoria, Texas  Funeral services are under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home , 361-771-2120
