John Robert Gutierrez, 49, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. John was born on December 17, 1974, in Ganado, Texas.  John was a very kindhearted, careful and selfless man.  He was always happy and always had a smile on his face.  He was a very giving person; if he saw someone struggling, he wouldn't hesitate to help.  He was a man with strong faith and love for Jesus.  I know for a fact that he is up in heaven where there is no pain, no suffering and he's dancing.  He is no longer struggling; he is finally home where his soul can rest.  John always made a positive impact on anyone he came in contact with.  He was a very big family man; he lived for his family and his children.  There was never a day where he would not call or text one of his kids or one of his brothers.  He loved everyone equally and always had hope.  He would always bring a smile to peoples face and make everyone laugh.  He was a great brother and an even better father.  Even though he had his fair share of ups and downs with everybody, he always made up with everyone.  As a father he gave his all.  Even when his children were wild and crazy he'd still love them. When they were mad, he was understanding. With so much still to say and so little time we are happy we were able to have experiences as a father, a brother and an uncle with him.  John is survived by his grandmother Clara Gutierrez, daughters Marcie Gutierrez & Bethany Gutierrez, sons Caleb Gutierrez, John Gutierrez, Jr., & Zechariah Gutierrez, brothers Mark Gutierrez & Martin Gutierrez, Jr. (Yolanda) and parents Martin Gutierrez & Virginia Rodriguez and 4 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his brother Julian Gutierrez, sister Marcellina Gutierrez, sister-in-law Rebecca Gutierrez, aunts Dora Cardenas & Felipa Cox, uncle Andrew Gutierrez and grandfather Manuel Gutierrez, Sr.  John's celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 10, 2024 10:00am at the Ganado Funeral Home chapel.
