Juan was born on August 16, 1946 to the late Geronimo and  Margarita Leal

Juan is survived by his wife Minerva Garza Leal their children; Alicia Baez( Agustin) Bertha Medina (Leonardo) Sophia González (Isidro) and his 10 grandchildren. His ashes will be spread in Mexico at a later date.
