Julia (Zapalac) Moore Obituary

Julia Mary Zapalac Moore was born on August 27, 1939 to Frank H. Zapalac and Julia Mary Konvicka Zapalac in Jackson County, Texas.  She passed away peacefully into her Savior's arms on July 11, 2023.

Julia is survived by her son Mark L. Stump and his wife Sheree Hardcastle-Stump; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Julia has been preceded in death by her parents, her husband William E. Moore, brothers George Zapalac and Johnny Zapalac, and sister Annie May Zapalac Chanek.

Julia was a loving wife and mother, she served her community as a Registered Nurse for many years in Edna and Jackson County, she will be truly missed by all her friends and family that knew her and loved her. 

There will be a Graveside Service on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen Street, Edna, Texas 77957, 361-782-2152.
