Katherine ‘Kay’ Regina (Lindberg) Tucker of El Campo, Texas, 82; beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many, passed peacefully on May 8th, 2025. Kay was a Baptist by faith and was surrounded by loved ones in the moments leading up to her passing.

She was born on January 5th, 1943, in Edna, Texas, to Bill and Imogene (Rexroad) Lindberg. She was preceded in death by her brothers James Arthur, Myrvle Lon, her sister Billie Gene Webernick, niece Dannette Bundick, and nephew Johnny Webernick. She is survived by son Charles (Buster) T Tucker Jr., & wife Marsha of Louise, Texas,  daughter Larissa Kay Isbill & husband Rob of Webster, Texas, sister Melba Lucille Lindberg of Kerrville, Texas, family friend Leona Laughman, her grandsons Ty Ryan Tucker and William Caiden Green, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and her companion of 33 years Laddie Lee Krenek and his children Terry Krenek, Jason Krenek, Sherry Krenek, and his grandkids. She also leaves behind her fur baby Boots that she and Laddie loved.

She attended business school in Houston; she was a bookkeeper for various companies. Mom had a big heart for her family and for helping others. She was loved fiercely and was a great listener and a genuine friend and companion. She loved to garden, dance, cook, travel and spending time with family and friends. Her arms were always open for love and receiving hugs.

A graveside service to honor Kay, will be held on Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at 10:30 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of South Texas 605 E. Locust Ave Victoria, TX 77901.
