Linda Joyce Hamilton went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2025, at the age of 78.  She was born on November 15, 1946, to James and Christine Highberg in Palacios, Texas.  She dedicated her life to her husband, daughter and family as well as caring for others as a nurse.  She is preceded in death by her husband Darvis Hamilton, daughter Dawn Bourg, parents James and Christine Highberg, brothers Jimmie Highberg, Charles Highberg, James Highberg, Jr., and sisters Nora Cady, Patricia Porter, and Audrey (Tiny) White.  She is survived by her sister Rita Polensky.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, at 10:30am at Red Bluff Cemetery in Lolita, Texas.  Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik and Ganado Funeral Homes.
