Magdalyn Carol Koester Jones passed away on July 12, 2021, in Edna, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters; Shanon D. Herzner and her husband, William Herzner, Kristi K. Moritz, and her husband Joab, her grandson, Max J. Herrera, and his wife Courtney, and her great-grandchildren, Emersyn Jo Herrera and Hayes Tomas Herrera. Her brothers; Melvin "Tubby" Koester, David " Bubba" Koester, sister, Theresa "Tessie" Motal , also her bonus family in Alaska, Allison and Frank (Boogles ) Johnson and their children, Teague, Alohna, Alyssa, Davin, and Melody; Kathleen Herzner and Davis, Elizabeth Herzner, and her husband William E. Herzner.

Preceded in her death are her; parents, Melvin and Rosalie, her husband Daniel Jones, and a son Jason Jones. She was raised in Ganado, Texas where she met and married her high school sweetheart. They raised their family in Victoria. Carol, as she prefered to be called, spent her entire career as an educator in Victoria independent School District. She taught at F.W. Gross and O'Conner Elementary Schools.

Funeral services will be Friday July 16,2021, beginning at 12:30 pm for Visitation, Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm and Services at 2:00 pm. Services will be at the Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado, interment will be in the Ganado City Cemetery.
