Marcelino DeLeon, 80, of Edna went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday May 14, 2024.  Marcelino was born on February 2, 1944, to Isabel and Maria DeLeon.  He is survived by daughter Diana Zayas (Juan), sisters Ramona Herrera and San Juanita Soria, brother Isabel "Chavelo" DeLeon Jr., three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, also a beloved nephew: Juan "Johnny" DeLeon, he has been preceded in death by his parents; Isabel and Mary DeLeon, brothers; Jacinto DeLeon and Benito DeLeon

Visitation will be Sunday May 19, 2024 at Slavik Funeral Home chapel from 1:30pm-4:00pm with Rosary being recited at 3:00 pm.   Funeral service will be Monday May 20, 2024 at Slavik Funeral Home chapel at 11:00am with interment to follow at Edna Latin America Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are Ricky Sanchez, JJ DeLeon, Justin Ramos, Derrick Ramos, Christopher DeLeon and Carlos Hernandez.  Honorary pallbearers are Stefanie Mojica, Jennifer Ramos, Nathaniel DeLeon, Matthew DeLeon, Maleak Ramos, and Marcus Valle. 

Services have been entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik Funeral Home.
