Mary Lou Licona

GANADO - Mary Louise Cortez Licona, 73, of Ganado, went to her forever home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Mary Louise was born on July 31,1948 in Palacios, Matagorda County , Texas to Paul Cortez and Santos Rojas Cortez.  Mary is survived by her son, Robert Licona, daughters, Rachel C. Partida, Lisa Melendez, and Donna Robinson,  sister, Josephine Tristan and her brother, Father Samuel Arizpe. She has been preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her favorite person in the whole wide world, also her son-in-law.

There will be a Visitation on Thursday beginning at 9:00 am, Rosary being recited at 9:30 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado, with her brother, Father Samuel Arizpe officiating.
