Michael Gene Hicks, 63, of Ganado went home to his Lord, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  Michael was born on Saturday, October 12, 1957 in Ganado to Billy E. Hicks and Eunice M. Hicks.  Michael was an oilfield consultant, he held a deep passion for hunting, fishing, softball and dominos.  Michael's true love however was bull riding.

Michael is survived by his wife; Susie Hicks, sons; Layne Hicks and Luke and his wife Amber Hicks, sisters; Jeannie and her husband James Browning, Debbie and her husband Jim Carroll,  Billie Rae and her husband Craig Hayden, brothers; Floyd "Spud" and his wife Ginger Ellison, Jeff Hicks, Clinton and his wife Leah Hicks.  Michael is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.  He has been preceded in death by his parents; Eunice Mae Hicks and Billy Eugene Hicks, and his sister; Nancy Ann Hicks.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at the KJT Hall in Ganado, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Local Hospice Company, or the choice of the donor.
