Oscar P. Tudyk passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. He was born November 24, 1931, in San Antonio to the late John Louis and Rosario Gutierrez Tudyk. He voluntarily served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1950 through 1953 in the Korean War. He was a Devout Catholic and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Oscar was preceded in death by his spouse of 55 years, Frances Rakowitz Tudyk; brothers, Johnny, William, Hector, and Robert; sisters, Alice Srutek, Rosemary Allen, Mary Hamner and Erma Galindo; and daughter in law, Brenda Ann Tudyk.
He leaves behind one daughter, Marcia M. Goings (Marcy) and husband Mike; two sons, Oscar P. Tudyk, Jr. (Phil) and wife Brenda M. and Micheal B. Tudyk. Four grandchildren, Marcia A. Reed, Ryan P. Tudyk, Sabrina K. Cisneros-Krause and Sam B.O. Tudyk; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00pm until the rosary at 1:30pm at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Edna, Texas. Mass will begin at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Memory Gardens of Edna.
Pall bearers are Gene Vesely, Ryan Tudyk, Sam Tudyk, Ayden Tudyk, Kameron Reed, and Bill Rakowitz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik & Ganado Funeral Homes.
