Paul Ernest Olivares, Sr.

Paul Ernest Olivares at 72 years of age, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024, in Ganado, TX.  He was born on April 6, 1951 in Fullerton, CA.  He was a millman by trade, he loved working with his hands.  Paul was a friend and mentor to many.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends.  He was a devoted husband to his wife, Vera Olivares, of 55 years.  He is survived by his 3 children, Paul Ernest Olivares Jr., Jessica Leigh Nelson and Richard Eric Olivares; his 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Mike Nelson, Brooklyn Mary Solis, Ezekiel Ysmael Nelson, Jasmine Leah Olivares and Matthew Noah Olivares; and his 2 great-grandchildren, Santino Paul Olivares Nelson and Lyla Jay Solis.  He will be dearly missed.  Heaven has gained another carpenter.  Services for Paul will be held on Monday March 18, 2024 beginning with a rosary at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Greg Korenek officiating. Burial immediately after at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.  Services entrusted to the Todish Family of Ganado & Slavik Funeral Homes.
