Peggy Ann Webernick Roades of Ganado passed away on January 6th, 2025.

Peggy was born on June 22nd, 1943, to the late Johnnie Ray and Viola Galow Webernick.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 63 years R.H. Roades, Jr, their children; Barth (Bobette) Roades, Dorcas (Mark) Staff, grandchildren Caleb (Delaney) Staff and Nathan Staff; sister Doris (Lawrence) Girndt, brother David (Shirley) Webernick and sister-in-law Vernonica Webernick. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and brother Philip Webernick.

If you knew Peggy, she would tell you in uncertain terms with some color included, that you better not spend time mourning her death, but celebrating her past and upcoming spiritual life. And if she finds out that anyone said she was older than 29 years, she’ll send her angel to reprimand.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 250, Ganado, TX 77962, if so desired.

Graveside service will be held January 11th at 11:00 am at the Ganado City Cemetery. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 pm at the St. James Lutheran Church to tell stories and catch up with relatives and friends.
