Reyes C. Rodriguez, 84, of Ganado, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  Reyes was born on Sunday, December 26, 1937, in McFaddin, Victoria County, Texas to Bartolo and Agapita Rodriguez. 

Reyes is survived by his loving family, his wife Juanita Rodriguez, his daughters; Juanita M. Rodriguez and Christina G. Martinez, his sons; Terry Ray Rodriguez, Sr. and his wife, Dale Rodriguez, his nine grandchildren; Janelle McElveen, Elano Lara, Michael Lara, Toby Ray Martinez, Gracie Martinez, Mark Martinez, Julian Martinez, Terry Ray Rodriguez, Jr. and Patrick James Rodriguez, and his fifteen great grandchildren; Sara Lara, Kody McElveen, McKayla McElveen, Carmen McElveen, Michael James Lara, Gabriela Lara, Nicole Lara, Guadalupe Martinez, Toby Martinez, IV, Gilbert Vega, Angel Joe Vega, Xavier Martinez and Ariella Martinez, and his siblings, brothers; Robert Rodriguez of Houston, Gilbert Rodriguez of Ganado, Bartolo Rodriguez, Jr. of Houston, his sisters; Mary Martinez of Ganado and Lydia Espindola of Houston., and Isabela Rodriguez of Edna.  He has been preceded in death by his parents, Agapita Conchola Rodriguez and Bartolo Rodriguez, Sr., his son Reyes Angel Rodriguez, also his three sons-in-law: Guadalupe Lara, Antonio O. Martinez. and Toby Martinez, II, also his brother-in-law, Adam Rodriguez and "Floyd" Jose Martinez.

Active Pallbearers are Michael Lara, Elano Lara, Mark A. Martinez, Julian R. Martinez, Toby Ray Martinez, Terry Ray Rodriguez, Jr. and Patrick James Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearer is Sara Lara.

There will be a Funeral Service to honor the life of Reyes on Monday, August 8th, 2022, at Assumption Catholic Church. Beginning with Visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, with Rosary being recited at 9:30 am, and Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, with Father Greg Korenek officiating.
