Robert Browning Obituary

Robert Raymond Browning, 71, of Lolita passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 after a lengthy illness.  He was born on Sunday, January 16, 1949 in Jackson County to Orville Ray Browning and Corrine Browning. Robert served his county in the United States Army in Vietnam, being stationed in Germany with the Nuclear Weapons Division.  In August of 1984, Robert married the love of his life, Jeri L. Mohr, and together they raised their four children.

Robert is survived by his wife Jeri L. Mohr Browning, daughter, Emily C. Knight and her husband Jason, daughter-in-law Laura Browning, sons, Joseph and Jennifer Browning, Daniel and Jessie Browning and Mark and Stephanie Browning, his thirteen grandchildren; Hailey Browning, Charlotte Grey Browning, Mason Browning, Auri Knight, Bixby Browning, Reagan Browning, Farrah Browning, Ava Knight, Mabel Browning, Max Browning, Elena Browning, Cora Knight and Luke Browning, sisters, Beth Reed and husband Doug, Brenda Allen and husband Dan, brother Carl Browning and wife Carol. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; Orville Ray Browning and Corrine Knoernschild Browning Reeves. 

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 13th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Edna, There will be a private family funeral service with burial to follow.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hospice of South Texas or Builders for Christ. 

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St. Edna, TX 77957, 361-782-2152.
