Robert "Bobby" Joseph Gendke, Sr.

Robert "Bobby" Joseph Gendke, Sr. 76, of Vanderbilt went to his forever home on Monday, December 20, 2021.  Bobby was born on Saturday, April 14, 1945, in Vanderbilt to Emil Gendke, Sr. and Bernice Gendke.  Bobby is survived by his loving family, his wife, Suzi Gendke, daughter, Amanda Gendke, son and daughter-in-law, Bobby, Jr and Tammy Gendke, his two grandchildren, Jack and Trevor Gendke, also his brother and sister-in-law, Emil, Jr. and Inez Gendke.  Bobby has been preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Emil Gendke, Sr., and brother Herman Gendke.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 28,2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St. John Bosco Catholic Church - Hall, the Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, beginning at 10:00 am, also at St. John Bosco Catholic Church - Hall, with Father Johnson officiating, interment will follow at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of South Texas, 605 E. Locust Ave., Victoria, TX 77901, or St. John Bosco Catholic Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 337 Vanderbilt, TX 77991.
