Obituary

Ruth Ann Budd, at the age of 80, earned her heavenly wings on Saturday, August 5, 2023.  Ruth Ann was born in Victoria on August 8, 1942 to Arthur Kramer and Josephine Kramer.  Ruth Ann married the love of her life, Douglas Budd on June 9, 1962, and together they raised their three children.   

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Budd, daughter, Kimberly Budd, her son, James Budd and his wife Celeste, her four grandchildren, Nathan Budd and his wife Alyson, Colton Budd, Waylon Budd and Amanda Budd, and her two great grandchildren, Braxton Budd and Brynlee Budd. Ruth Ann is also survived by her brother, Vernon and his wife Ruth Kramer, her niece April and her husband Derek Andreas, their children, Kivan and Branwen.

She has been preceded in death by her father, Arthur Kramer, mother, Josephine Gerdes Kramer Kutchka, her step-father, Robert Kutchka and her daughter, Susan Budd.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 am at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Steve Borowicz officiating. 

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St. Edna, Texas 77957, 361-782-2152.
