Shirley Faye Mattocks, 87, of Munford, Tennessee, passed away at Covington Care on May 18, 2024. Mrs. Mattocks loved making quilts, gardening, landscaping, and embroidering. She enjoyed playing Canasta at the Senior Center with her friends. She taught school for 25 years at Munford Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy H. and Mary Roades. She is survived by a daughter, Karen McKenzie of Millington, Tennessee, a son, Keith Mattocks (Becky) of Victoria, Texas, two brothers, R.H. Roades and Gordon Roades, two grandchildren, Madeline Mattocks (Reese) and Joseph Mattocks, and one great-grandchild, Josie Grace Turner. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 9:30am at the Ganado Funeral Home chapel with the funeral service starting at 10:45am. Interment to follow at Ganado City East Cemetery in Ganado, Texas.  Pallbearers are Barth Roades, William Webel, James Darilek, Nick Strauss, Grady Atkinson and Jim McCormick.
