Thomas Lawrence Spurlock Obituary

Thomas Lawrence Spurlock passed away on November 4, 2024. He spent his life in various occupations including minister/pastor, roofer and all-around handyman, as well as various roles in the oil field. He loved fishing and a good cup of coffee. Jeans and boots were his normal attire, but he had recently become a huge fan of warm-ups. He said they were like pajamas but socially acceptable to wear in public and whoever invented them deserved a raise. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Spurlock, mother Lula Mae Wilson, and wife Ann Spurlock. He is survived by his wife Patsy Whitley Spurlock, daughters Shana Pieprzyca and Shonda Piepryzyca, sisters Vi Griffin and Mary Alice Stone, brothers Cecil Wilson and Doug Spurlock, grandsons Noah Pieprzyca and Joseph Sipes, granddaughters Shaneece Pieprzyca Coffman, Ashley Pieprzyca and Andi Pieprzyca, Stepchildren Missy Ryan, Brad Ryan, Greg Ryan and Donna Silveira as well as multiple step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held on Friday November 8, 2024, at 9:30am at Nursery Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.  Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Slavik and Ganado Funeral Homes.
